Pierre paces Bethune-Cookman with 10 kills in loss
LAKE WALES, Fla. -- Delicia Pierre had 10 kills, seven digs and three service aces as Bethune-Cookman (6-25) dropped a 3-0 (25-22,25-12,25-15) loss to Warner (15-9) Tuesday.
Phylecia Armstrong added six kills and Destiny Hudson five for the Lady Cats, who dropped their third straight.
Jennifer Jimenez had eight digs.

McDaniel records match-high 11 kills in loss to East Carolina
GREENSBORO – Sophomore Aleena McDaniel recorded a match-high 11 kills but it wasn’t enough for the North Carolina A&T volleyball team who faced a 3-0 (25-11, 20, 14) setback to East Carolina, Tuesday evening at Moore Gymnasium.
The Aggies (6-23 overall) struggled offensively against the Pirates who improved to 13-16. ECU set the tone of the match early in the first game and took a 17-10 advantage over A&T until Brooke Stamnes handed down a kill to cut their deficit to six. However the Pirates scored the next eight points to win the set.
A&T was down 11-7 in the third set, but McDaniel registered two consecutive kills to cut the Pirates advantage to 11-9. ECU used several short rallies to score back-to-back points to win the set while the Aggies struggled to put together runs.
Liz Martino finished with 18 assists and eight digs. Ashley Johnson added 15 digs.
Whitney Campbell led the Pirates with nine kills. Bella Borgiotti finished with 18 assists and Shelby Beasley tallied a match-high 20 digs.
