NORFOLK, Va., November 19, 2013 – Maryland Eastern Shore senior Megan Buja was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Buja (Sr., 5-4, Rockford, Ill.) earned All-Tournament Team honors at the 2013 UMES Hawk Classic. She finished second overall in a field of more than 114 bowlers, averaging a 209.6 pinfall and a high game of 249. Buja led the Lady Hawks to their first tournament win of the season and a 12-1 record.

Thea Aspiras (NSU) finished the UMES Hawk Classic with an average of 200.4 pinfall with a 239 high against Adelphi.
