BALTIMORE -- Coppin State director of athletics Derrick Ramsey is featured on the NCAA website for a story in relation to the Accelerating Academic Success Grant program.

Ramsey was in Indianapolis, Ind., last week for the NCAA Leadership Counsel meeting of which he is a committee member. During his stay, he met with the NCAA staff to conduct the interview.

The interview centered on the Accelerating Academic Success Grant in which Coppin State was selected to participate. Ramsey discussed the many success stories that have originated from the usage of the grant funds in aiding Coppin State student-athletes in the academic realm.
