Former Lady Eagle standout Williams signs with Primorje

DURHAM, N.C. – Former North Carolina Central University guard/forward combo Chasidy Williams will continue her professional career in Montenegro  as she signed a contract with Primorje.

During her tenure at NCCU Williams amassed 1359 career points and 708 rebounds.

As a senior, the Fayetteville, N.C., native played in 26 games for the Lady Eagles while starting in 24. Williams averaged 34.7 minutes per contest, led the Lady Eagles averaging 10 points per game (261 total), 2.1 steals per contest, 1.4 assists (36) and finished second on the team in free throw percentage at .78 percent and on the boards with 6.6 (171) per game.

During the 2012-13 season the redshirt senior collected three double-doubles while having her best scoring performance at Maryland Eastern Shore on Feb. 4 where she amassed 22 points and pulled down 10 boards
