NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk State Athletics Department announced today that all home baseball and softball games for the 2013 season will be video streamed live through the department's website, www.nsuspartans.com.
A season pass for baseball goes for $110, which gives you access to all 19 home single games as well as the five scheduled doubleheaders. The season pass saves $25 off the cumulative game-by-game cost, or the equivalent of getting five single games for free.
Included in the 19 home games is the April 2 exhibition at Harbor Park between NSU and the Norfolk Tides. The MEAC baseball tournament hosted by NSU May 15-19 at Marty L. Miller Field does not figure into the cost of the season pass.
A softball season pass sells for $75, which gives you access to all four home single games and nine doubleheaders, including both early-season home tournaments. A season pass saves $17 off the cumulative game-by-game cost, or the equivalent of getting two doubleheaders for free.
Cost of the live video feed also runs $5 for a single game or $8 for a doubleheader, the latter of which also includes the two home softball tournaments when NSU plays two games in one day, not always consecutively. Fans must purchase game-day or doubleheader passes the day of the actual contest.
All games will be available through the All-Access Video Streaming link, which can be found at the main athletics page or either sport's home page under the Inside Athletics tab at the top. Subscribers must create a user name and password prior to making a purchase.
Following the conclusion of each event, the games will be archived and available for purchase and viewing within 48 hours by logging into the All-Access site and clicking the media archive link.
