Maryland Eastern Shore junior Victoria Williams was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Teammate Bridget Ebster-Schwarzenberger earned Rookie of the Week accolades for the second consecutive week.
Williams (6-3, Jr., RS, Los Angeles, Calif.) aided the Lady Hawks to a 4-0 mark at the Alabama State Tournament last week. Williams averaged 14.75 kills, tallied a .346 hitting percentage and totaled 10 blocks during the four-match span. In a 3-2 victory against North Texas, she recorded a career-high 19 kills.
Ebster-Schwarzenberger (5-10, Fr., OH/RS, St. Veiberstrabe, Austria) averaged 10.25 kills and 8.5 digs in four wins for the Lady Hawks. The outside hitter recorded a double-double of 12 kills and 14 digs in a 3-2 win against Troy. She also combined for 10 aces and three blocks during the victories.

Dayana Arrufat Rondon (NCCU) combined for 23 kills and 16 digs in three matches for the Eagles.

Andrea Evans (NCAT) averaged 5.25 kills and 3.5 blocks in four matches for the Aggies.
Destinee Harrison (Howard) totaled 18 kills, five digs and five aces in three matches.
Ashley Johnson (NCAT) led the defensive effort for the Aggies with 61 digs including 29 in a loss to Mercer.
Darcy Moore (NSU) aided the Spartans with 7.92 assists per set at the Air Force/Colorado Invitational.
