North Carolina Central University head men's basketball coach LeVelle Moton participated as an instructor in the fourth annual Charlotte Bobcats Fantasy Camp hosted by NBA great Michael Jordan on July 11, at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.
Moton was one of many great basketball minds on hand at the camp that included the winningest coach in North Carolina high school basketball history Freddy Johnson, former professional great Dell Curry, head women's basketball coach at the University of North Carolina Sylvia Hatchell, and current Bobcats veteran guard Matt Carroll who all provided instruction on the drills.
"This experience for me was amazing," said Moton. "I had a great time at the luncheon with Jordan and with him asking me to be a part of this camp was incredible. I was truly humbled and honored to be a coach at his fantasy camp."
Campers navigated through seven skill stations including drilling, shooting, one-on-one offense, individual defense, passing, and an all-encompassing skills challenge, which tested the campers' all-around abilities.
This event is held by the NBA franchise for season ticket holders only.
