B-CU Lady Wildcats Ranked 18th in Final NTCA Poll

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla - Bethune-Cookman, the MEAC Bowling Championship Runners-up, were tabbed in the NTCA (National Tenpin Coaches Association) poll as the nation's 18th ranked team in their final 2011-12 poll.

 

The Lady Wildcats were able to earn 34 additional wins over the previous season finishing the year 63-56, including a 21-9 regular season MEAC mark. Through the course of a very successful season, B-CU defeated Weber State, who went on to win the USBC National Championship and Maryland Eastern Shore, the 2012 NCAA National Champions. 

 

Bethune-Cookman had a strong strong finish to the season and will not lose any upperclassmen to graduation heading into next fall.


The team was led by second team All-MEAC, MEAC All-Tournament team performer, and senior to-be Staci Hilliard, the Lady Wildcats will be back in action next October.
