Lady Hornets Top Mt. St. Mary?s For 13th Straight Win

Delaware State continues to add to its school-record win streak. The Hornets defeated Mount St. Mary's 6-1 Monday to extend its streak to 13 straight matches.

Delaware State's Vanja Andonova, Cristina Andrade and Marina Sicic also continued their impressive individual win streaks during the Mount St. Mary's contest.

Andonova posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles for her 13th straight victory. She is now 13-1 this season. Andrade stretched her personal win streak to 12 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 5. The pair also teamed up for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles. Andonova has won 12 consecutive doubles contests, while Andrade has been victorious in 11 straight.

Sicic has won eight straight singles matches after a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 4.

Delaware State also received singles wins from Ksenia Kozlova and Kristina Aleksic.

Kozlova was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 1, while Aleksic also posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 2 contest.
