North Carolina Central team topped regular-season action with a 5-2 victory over the Aggies of North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, N.C., on the N.C. A&T campus.

Cameron Chatman and Olesya Palko defeated Azeib Nigatu and Cayla Cross 8-1, while Ekaterina Nekrasova and Rebecca Wood beat Nianna Henry and Kimberly Stalling 8-1.

In singles play, the mighty maroon secured the MEAC win by clutching four-of-the-six singles matchups.  Palko beat Henry, 6-1, 6-1, Chatman defeated Cross, 6-1, 6-2, Nekrasova conquered Nigatu, 6-0, 6-1 and Wood overcame Stalling, 6-4, 6-1.
