TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida A&M tennis team is ranked No.69 in the latest national rankings in the ITA/NCAA Division I poll.
Salif Kante has been everything Coach Carl Goodman thought he was before he picked up a raquet for the Rattlers. He has taken out the No.1 player on virtually every team the Rattlers have faced, including a very challenging non-conference schedule. Teamed with Levan Clark, they have been very successful as a doubles team.
The Rattlers are the only HBCU team ranked in the Top 75 in the country. The top team on the poll is the USC Trojans. Other teams of note include Ohio State (#2), University of Florida (#9), Florida State (#32) and University of Miami (#59).
