NORFOLK, Va., February 29, 2012- Delaware State's Jennifer Creno was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

 Creno (Jr., Syracuse, N.Y.) knocked down 1,265 pins and averaged a 210.8 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships in Egg Harbor Township, N.J. Creno guided the Lady Hornets to a 4-1 record and second place overall finish. The junior recorded 200-plus scores in four out of six team games played, including a game-high 247 in a win against St. Francis.

 Other Top Performers:

Ashley Cromeans (Hampton) knocked down 1,110 pins at the ECAC Championships and averaged a 178.8 for the Lady Pirates.
