North Carolina Central ventured to Camel territory where they dropped a 7-0 decision to Campbell on Saturday, Feb. 4 in Buies Creek, N.C.
NCCU junior Olesya Palko competed as the No. 1 singles player, where she suffered a 6-4, 3-0 loss to Karolina Chernaya. Fellow seasoned Eagle Cameron Chatman battled Tamara Stanic and under went a 6-2, 6-0 defeat.
Maroon and gray newcomers Ekaterina Nekrasova, Rebecca Wood and Julia Aguilar also found themselves on the opposing end of the racket. Nekrasova lost to Natasha Afridi (6-1, 6-4), Wood fell to Anais Gomar (6-4, 6-4) and Lourdes Ros defeated Aguilar (6-0, 6-0).
