NORFOLK, Va., February 14, 2012- Norfolk State's Chelsea Krall was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.  

Krall (Sr. Virginia Beach, Va.) averaged a 196.0 with 784 pinfall in four games at the Capital Classic in Dover, Delaware. Krall was named to the All-Tournament Team and had a team high 214 in a loss to Delaware State. As a team, the Spartans posted a 10-2 mark in team and Baker games to capture first place at the Capital Classic and improve to 71-30 on the season.

Other Top Performers:

Felicia Baker (B-CU) knocked down 917 pins and averaged a 182.4 at the Capital Classic. 

Pamela Kettler (HAM) led the Lady Pirates with a 179.3 average at the Capital Classic.

Keisheena Waldon (MSU) led her team with a 243 in a win against Hampton and a fourth place finish overall at the Capital Classic.
