Coleman Records Triple-Double in Wildcats win over Webber Int.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Adrien Coleman registered a triple-double of 18 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists; and Alex Smith double-doubled with career-highs of 24 points and 10 rebounds as Bethune-Cookman defeated Webber International 85-72 Saturday afternoon.
Coleman, a 6-5 junior from Atlanta, posted the first triple-double in school history as the Wildcats (4-6) won their second straight.
B-CU had three other players in double-figures: Paul Scotland (14) and Kevin Dukes and Marc Mack with 10 each.
Brain [cq] Pace had 20 of his game-high 31 in the first half as Webber enjoyed an early 15-8 lead.
Trailing 35-30, Bethune-Cookman closed the first half with a 9-1 run to take a 39-36 halftime lead.

Murray Scores 18 in Loss to Marshall
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. -- Michael Murray scored 18 points, but Dennis Tinnon scored 15 points, including nine in the final 2:45 of regulation, leading Marshall to a 69-63 victory over Coppin State on Saturday at the Cam Henderson Center.
Coppin State (1-8) led for the first 27:35 of the game until Elijah Pittman tied the game at 46-46 on a dunk with 12:25 to play in the game.
Collin Johnson put the Eagles back in front 48-46 with a jumper with 11:01 remaining, but Marshall took its first lead of the game when Pittman drilled a three-pointer with 9:51 remaining.

Kyree Jones Notches Career-High for Hawks against Cincinnati
CINCINNATI, OHIO -Kyree Jones scored 13 of the Hawks 23 first half points, and helped keep the second-half box score close. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore lost to nationally ranked Cincinnati 92-60 Saturday. Jones finished with a game-high 25 points for UMES.
The Hawks Troy Snyder opened the game with a three pointer for UMES, followed by two free throws from Jones. Jones would go on to score the Hawks next five points before Snyder would again score for UMES. Snyder finished with 13 points and led UMES with eight rebounds.
A jumper by Jones with 16:40 remaining in the first half would be the last score for UMES for the next seven minutes. Jones would score for the Hawks on two free throws, and finish the game 7-of-8 (.875) at the charity stripe. The Hawks shot 70 percent from the line, besting Cincinnati by 10 percentage points.
The first half was a tough battle for the Hawks. Offensively, the Hawks shot a dismal 18 percent from the field, but made 6-of-8 (.750) at the free-throw line. The Hawks defense allowed Cincinnati to play fairly consistent, allowing the Bearcats to shoot 56 percent from the field and 53 percent from behind the three-point arc.

Pirates Drop Tough Home Loss to Robert Morris
HAMPTON, Va. - The Hampton University men's basketball team dropped its first home game of the season on Saturday, as Robert Morris escaped the HU Convocation Center with a 66-54 win.
Junior guard Ramon Mercado (Chicago, Ill.) led the Pirates (1-7) with 13 points behind three 3-pointers. He was the only Hampton player in double figures; freshman guard Deron Powers (Williamsburg, Va.) added nine points.
The Pirates jumped out to a 9-3 lead at the 16:08 mark of the first half following a jumper from junior guard Du'Vaughn Maxwell (Manhattan, N.Y.), before Robert Morris fought back to tie the game at 11-11 at the 13:45 mark after Velton Jones hit a pair of free throws.
A free throw from freshman guard Ke'ron Brown (Savannah, Ga.) at the 12:58 mark gave the Pirates a 12-11 lead.
The Colonials answered with a 14-0 run, going up 25-12 with 6:36 left in the first half after a 3-point play from Jones. That run ballooned to 18-4 at the 2:11 mark, when Robert Morris took a 29-16 lead.
The Pirates scored the last five points of the half, though, going into the locker room down 29-21.
