Adrien Coleman was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Player of the Week the conference announced on Monday.
Bruce Beckford of North Carolina A&T State was named Rookie of the Week while B-CU's
Alex Smith earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.
Coleman (F, 6-5, 190, Jr., Atlanta, Ga.) recorded a combined 40 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals in a pair of non-conference games last week for the Wildcats. In a 102-51 win over Florida Christian, Coleman shot 10-of-12 (83%) from the field en route to 23 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 28 minutes of play. He also notched 17 points, connecting on 50-percent (8-of-16) of his baskets, with eight boards and one steal against Youngstown State.
Beckford (C, 6-7, 215, Fr., Silver Spring, Md.) scored eight points, shooting 57-percent from the field, with two rebounds and one block in a win over Eastern Kentucky.
Smith (F/C, 6-7, 210, Sr., Jacksonville, Fla.) averaged 12.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and one steal in two non-conference games last week. He grabbed 14 boards against Florida Christian and another 10 against Youngstown State. Offensively he averaged 11.5 points and one steal to help the Wildcats finish 1-1 last week.

Jeremy Ingram (NCCU) averaged 25.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in two games last week.
Stanton Kidd (NCCU) recorded a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds Utah Valley and averaged 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals to help the Eagles finish 1-1 last week.
Mike Phillips (HOW) finished with back-to-back double digit scoring performances of 15 and 10 points in games against Oregon State and Rutgers.
Adrian Powell (NCAT) scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 78-67 win over Eastern Kentucky.
Tahj Tate (DSU) tallied 19 points with one rebound, one assist and one steal against Pittsburgh.
Austin Witter (NCAT) recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and one steal in a win over Eastern Kentucky.
