Wildcats Bowling Ranked No. 19 in NTCA Poll
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Bethune-Cookman bowling fell two spots to No. 19 in the latest edition of the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll released Saturday, Dec. 15. The Wildcats began the season ranked 17th in the preseason poll released in September.
Central Missouri is ranked atop the poll, followed in order by fellow MEAC member Maryland Eastern Shore, Vanderbilt, Sam Houston State and Fairleigh Dickinson to round out the top five.
Bethune-Cookman (22-19) has taken part in four events thus far on the campaign, securing fourth place finishes in both MEAC Southern Division tournaments. The Cats also picked up fourth place finishes at the Tulane Invitational and the Wildcat Invitational, respectively, against several highly nationally-ranked teams.

UMES Slips To Second In Latest Poll
NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Despite taking first place in all three events of the fall season and amassing a 30-3 overall record, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) dropped to second place in the latest National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA) poll that was released late last week.
The Hawks tallied eight first place votes and 659 total points, trailing the nation's new No. 1 team, the University of Central Missouri. The Jennies earned their first ever top ranking with 16 first place votes and 683 total points.
The Jennies went 41-5 in the fall season and led the nation in winning percentage and RPI, something that hurt the Hawks.
Coming in third was Vanderbilt who rose from fourth place. Sam Houston State was the new fourth place team, up from eighth for their highest ever ranking. Fairleigh Dickinson, Nebraska, and Arkansas State rounded out fifth through seventh. The Red Wolves fell from second overall while FDU was third and Nebraska stayed put. Adelphi and Wisconsin-Whitewater were eighth and ninth respectively for both programs' highest ever ranking and Kutztown rounded out the top ten.
The MEAC saw Norfolk State drop from 11th to 14th and Bethune-Cookman fall from 17th to 19th. NCAT and Delaware State both received votes.
