Anggie Ramirez was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Ramirez (5-7, Sr., Bogata Colombia) averaged a 216.2 and 1,081 pinfall at the UMES Hawk Classic last week. She aided the Lady Hawks to an 11-2 mark and first place finish overall. Ramirez bowled three 200-plus games, including a career-high 279 in a win over #10 Stephen F. Austin.
Other Top Performers:
Carrie Hickey (NSU) bowled a 258 in a win over Sacred Heart and totaled 1,009 pinfall and a 201.8 average at the UMES Hawk Classic.
Kayla Meadows (MSU) averaged a 183.6 with 918 total pinfall at the UMES Hawk Classic.
