Maryland Eastern Shore senior Ndidi Ibe
was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s (MEAC) Volleyball
Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Norfolk State’s
Darcy Moore earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

Sr., MB, North Richland Hills, Texas) recorded 10 kills on 14 attacks
for a .643 hitting percentage in a conference win against Coppin State.
The senior added six blocks, two assists and one dig to extend
the Lady Hawks’ MEAC record to 3-0.
Moore (5-6, Fr., S, Denver, Colorado) averaged a double-double of
40 assists and 14.5 digs in two victories for the Spartans. Against
William & Mary, Moore tallied a season high 51 assists with 14 digs.
She followed with 29 assists and 15 digs in a conference
win against Howard. For the week, the setter tallied a .500 hitting
percentage (4-of-8).

Yeisha Arcia (FAMU)
totaled 15 kills on 29 attacks for a .414 hitting percentage in a win over North Carolina A&T.
Charlotte Armstead (NSU)
recorded her 1,000th career kill in a 3-1 non-conference win against William & Mary.
Taylor Bailey (SCSU)
hit .308 with six blocks and two digs against Savannah State.
Edarkis Branch (DSU) recorded a season-high 15 kills and four digs against Morgan State.
Maria Ceccarelli (FAMU)
totaled 30 kills and 13 digs in two matches for the Lady Rattlers.
Andrea Evans (NCAT) led her team with a .304 hitting percentage in a five-set loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Krysta Gardner (B-CU) combined for 27 kills, 13 digs and six blocks in two Wildcat victories.

averaged a double-double of 13 kills and 11.5 digs to aid Morgan State to a 1-1 mark last week.
Jasmine Jackson (DSU)
totaled 18 kills and 25 digs in three matches for the Lady Hornets.
Monica Lowe (B-CU)
averaged 34 assists and seven digs to aid the Wildcats to a 2-0 record last week.
Cindy Okpegbue (CSU)
tallied a career-high 14 kills with three blocks in a win over Delaware State.

registered a team-high 12 kills in a loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Vendula Strakova (Hampton)
recorded 11 digs and four blocks against Howard.
Melanie Williams (SCSU) was just shy of a double-double with 37 assists and nine digs in a win over Savannah State.
