Norfolk State University's Thea Aspiras was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.  

Aspiras (4-11, Jr., Chesapeake, Va.) averaged a 202.4 and 1,012 pinfall at the Hampton Roads Invitational last week. She earned All-Tournament MVP honors and tallied a game and team-high 234 in a win against Bowie State.

Natalee Armstrong (B-CU) averaged a 180.8 on 904 pinfall at the Wildcat Invitational.
