Coppin State center Jeanine Manley was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Morgan State's Amarah Williams earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Florida A&M's Antonia Bennett earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Manley (Center, 6-3, Sr., Oakland, Calif.) averaged 25.0 points and 6.5 rebounds to guide the Lady Eagles to victories over North Carolina A&T and Hampton last week. She scored a career-high 38 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a victory over North Carolina A&T. Manley followed that performance with 12 points, including five in overtime, along with six rebounds in a win over Hampton. For the week, she shot 65- percent from the floor (17-of-26) and 69- percent from the free-throw line (16-of-23).
Williams (Forward/Center, 6-2, Fr., St. Louis, Mo.) tallied her third double-double of the season with a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds, while shooting 7-of-10 from the floor in a win against North Carolina Central. She scored six points and pulled down eight rebounds along with two steals in a win at Norfolk State. Williams shot 60-percent from the field (9-of-15) to aid the Lady Bears in the two victories.
Bennett (Guard/Forward, 6-1, Sr., Lakeland, Fla.) grabbed 23 rebounds, tallied three blocks and nine steals to aid the Lady Rattlers to a 2-0 record last week. Bennett was two steals shy of a triple-double with 24 points, 14 rebounds, a career-high eight steals and three blocks against Delaware State. Offensively she totaled 36 points, while shooting 7-of-10 from the free-throw line, in two games.

Adobi Agbasi (UMES) combined for 18 points, 17 rebounds and 12 blocks in three games for the Lady Hawks.
Tiffanie Adair (NCAT) averaged 11.5 points and 11.0 rebounds to aid the Lady Aggies to a 1-1 mark last week.
Amber Calvin (NCAT) led her team in scoring with 18 points and seven rebounds against Coppin State.
Amber Cook (UMES) totaled 37 points, 19 rebounds and eight steals to aid the Lady Hawks to a 2-1 mark last week.
Moneshia Davis (MSU) combined for 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals in two games for the Lady Bears.
Saadia Doyle (Howard) averaged 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games.
Chelsea Dukes (DSU) scored a career-high 21 points in a loss to Florida A&M.
Tierra Hawkins (DSU) tallied a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds against North Carolina Central.
Rachel Gordon (NSU) scored 16 points and pulled down 19 rebounds against Morgan State.
