NCCU Snaps B-CU's MEAC Road Win Run With 69-64 Victory
DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University broke open a tight-knit ballgame with a 15-0 second half run, using a game-high 21 points from Ray Willis (Atlanta, Ga.) to propel the Eagles to the 69-64 win over defending regular-season champion Bethune-Cookman University on Monday night inside McDougald-McLendon Gym.
The Eagles outrebounded the Wildcats 35-26 as Dominique Sutton (Durham, N.C.) recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Ebuka Anyaorah (Suwanee, Ga.) gave NCCU a jolt in the second half with 13 second-half points to aid in the win.
Along with Willis's fourth 20-plus point effort he ended up with seven rebounds, four assists, and a career-high five steals.
Holloman had 14 points and eight rebounds for B-CU. Adrien Coleman scored 10, while Scotland and Kevin Dukes each scored nine.

Eagles Drop Bulldogs 82-61 In MEAC Play
ORANGEBURG,SC - The South Carolina State men's basketball team dropped it tenth-straight contest in a row losing 82-61 to the Eagles of Coppin State Monday at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Freshman forward Luka Radovic recorded the games only double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds for SC State. Senior forward Joe Ikhinmwin finished with 10 points and five rebounds, while forward Omar Sanders chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
Coppin State was led by Michael Harper with 25 points and Logan Wiens with 23, while Akeem Ellis added 13 in the victory and posted a double double.

MSU Held Off By Tigers in MEAC Clash, 57-55
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Savannah State held off the Bears of Morgan State to get a 57-55 victory over the Bears on Monday night.
Morgan State forward DeWayne Jackson scored a game-high 23 points, while Ian Chiles scored 12 points with five boards and three blocks. Kevin Thompson added 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
SSU (7-9, 3-1 MEAC) had three players score in double-figures, led by Hassan who finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Preston Blackmon and Deric Rudolph had 12 points apiece.

Sterling Defense Sparks NSU to 5th Straight Win
Norfolk, VA- Pendarvis Williams and Chris McEachin each scored 16 points to lead Norfolk State to a 68-48 win over Howard University in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference men's game at Echols Hall.
Rob Johnson had a season-high eight points for NSU, Quasim Pugh contributed seven and Brandon Goode had a season-best six.
The Bison were led by freshman Prince Okoroh with 8 points and freshmen center Theodore Boyomo and sophomore guard Tre Lee, who each tallied 7 points.

Aggies Earn Big Overtime Win
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The North Carolina A&T were able to pull out a big 85-82 overtime win over the Rattlers of Florida A&M.
Amin Stevens would score 15 points for the Rattlers, while grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double. Reggie Lewis would be the only additional Rattler in double figures with 12 points. Yannick Crowder and Jeremy Dean each grabbed six rebounds.
For the Aggies, the were led in scoring by Adrian Powell, who scored 22 for NC A&T. Jeremy Underwood scored 14 and Marc Hill dropped in 10 points to round out the trio of Aggies in double figures. Powell added 10 rebounds to cap the double-double.
