Amarah Williams earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Florida A&M's
Antonia Bennett earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Bennett (Forward, 6-2, So., Hampton, Va.) averaged 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two victories last week. She scored 18 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal in a win over East Carolina. In a 63-40 conference win over Howard, she tallied a career-high 23 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and three steals en route to her third double-double of the season.
Williams (Forward/Center, 6-2, Fr., St. Louis, Mo.) totaled 21 points, 11 rebounds and one steal in two games for the Lady Bears. Against South Carolina State, Williams scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Bennett (Guard/Forward, 6-1, Sr., Lakeland, Fla.) pulled down 16 rebounds, recorded five blocks and six steals in two Lady Rattler victories. Against Alabama-Birmingham, Bennett tallied 12 rebounds, two blocks and one steal. She followed that performance with four rebounds, three blocks and two steals in a conference win over North Carolina Central. Offensively, she added 25 points and five assists.

Chelsea Dukes (DSU) scored 14 points and three rebounds in a loss to Fordham.
Cabriel Duren (SCSU) totaled 16 points, 14 assists and nine rebounds in two games last week.
Jasmine Elum (B-CU) led the Lady Wildcats with 22 points, including three 3-pointers from beyond the arc, in a loss to North Carolina A&T.
