Hampton forward Alyssa Bennett was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Morgan State's Amarah Williams earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Florida A&M's Antonia Bennett earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

Bennett (Forward, 6-2, So., Hampton, Va.) averaged 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two victories last week. She scored 18 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal in a win over East Carolina. In a 63-40 conference win over Howard, she tallied a career-high 23 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and three steals en route to her third double-double of the season.

Williams (Forward/Center, 6-2, Fr., St. Louis, Mo.) totaled 21 points, 11 rebounds and one steal in two games for the Lady Bears. Against South Carolina State, Williams scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Bennett (Guard/Forward, 6-1, Sr., Lakeland, Fla.) pulled down 16 rebounds, recorded five blocks and six steals in two Lady Rattler victories. Against Alabama-Birmingham, Bennett tallied 12 rebounds, two blocks and one steal. She followed that performance with four rebounds, three blocks and two steals in a conference win over North Carolina Central. Offensively, she added 25 points and five assists.

Adobi Agbasi (UMES) averaged 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks in two games last week.

JaQuayla Berry (NCAT) led her team with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in a conference win over Bethune-Cookman.

Amber Calvin (NCAT) totaled 28 points, six rebounds and seven steals to aid the Lady Aggies to a 1-1 mark last week.

Qiana Donald (FAMU) averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games for the Lady Rattlers.

Saadia Doyle (Howard) averaged 18.6 points and 9.6 rebounds to aid the Lady Bison to a 2-1 mark last week.

Chelsea Dukes (DSU) scored 14 points and three rebounds in a loss to Fordham.

Cabriel Duren (SCSU) totaled 16 points, 14 assists and nine rebounds in two games last week.

Jasmine Elum (B-CU) led the Lady Wildcats with 22 points, including three 3-pointers from beyond the arc, in a loss to North Carolina A&T.  

Demetria Frank (B-CU) was two rebounds shy of a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds against North Carolina A&T.

Rachel Gordon (NSU) pulled down 19 rebounds, recorded two blocks and three steals in two victories.

Tierra Hawkins (DSU) recorded 14 points and seven rebounds against Fordham.

Jeanine Manley (CSU) averaged 19.0 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 75-percent from the floor in two wins last week.

DeKeisha Mathis (MSU) scored a team-high 19 points, including five 3-pointers, against Florida International.

Batavia Owens (NSU) averaged 16.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two wins last week.

Tiara Knotts (SCSU) scored 15 points and recorded seven steals in win over Southern Weselyan.  

Kabriana Truesdale (NCCU) was just shy of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds against Florida A&M.
