Alphonso Leary was named the Rookie of the Week and Hampton's
Danny Agbelese earned the Defensive Player of the Week honor respectively.
Reed (G, 6-3, 175, Jr., Daytona Beach, Fla.) averaged 27.0 points 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists to lead the Wildcats to a 2-0 mark last week. He scored 21 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in an 86-50 win over Maryland Eastern Shore. Against Hampton, he recorded 31 points, including the winning basket in the double overtime victory. He added six rebounds, six assists and two steals in the win while playing the entire 50 minutes.
Leary (C, 6-8, 190, Fr., Norfolk, Va.) averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in two games for the Bison. Against Norfolk State, he scored 17 points, while shooting 56-percent from the floor (7-of-12) and added eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Agbelese (F, 6-8, 218, Jr., Lanham, Md.) grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked 13 shots in two games for the Pirates. Against North Carolina A&T, Agbelese pulled down three rebounds and blocked six shots in 17 minutes of action. He followed that performance with 10 rebounds seven blocks in a double overtime loss to Bethune-Cookman.

Anton Dickerson (How) totaled 28 points and eight rebounds to aid the Bison to a 1-1 mark last week.
Hillary Haley (UMES) combined for 34 points and 17 rebounds against Bethune-Cookman and Coppin State.
Michael Harper (CSU) averaged 20.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in two games for the Eagles.
Kwame Morgan (Ham) led the Pirates with 47 points, 15 rebounds and five steals in two games last week.
Freddy Obame Obame (UMES) recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds in 69-67 loss to Coppin State.
Kyle O'Quinn (NSU) tallied his 14th double-double of the year with 16 points and 12 rebounds against North Carolina Central.
Kyle Riley (How) combined for 18 points, seven rebounds and six steals in two Bison games.
Rodney Stokes (MSU) scored 16 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in a non-conference win over VMI in Sears BracketBusters.
Kevin Thompson (MSU) led the Bears with 18 points and was perfect from the floor (9-of-9) in the Sears BracketBusters game against VMI.
Jay Threatt (DSU) averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists against Florida A&M and in the Sears BracketBusters game against Tennessee State last week.
Casey Walker (DSU) combined for 26 points, nine rebounds, and four steals in two games for the Hornets.
Pendarvis Williams (NSU) scored 11 points, four rebounds and five assists in a win over Howard.
