Melanie Warner was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Bethune-Cookman's
Amber Antoine earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Florida A&M's
Qiana Donald earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Warner (Forward, 5-10, Sr., Tallahassee, Fla.) averaged a double-double of 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 58-percent from the floor in two Lady Pirate victories last week. In a win over Chicago State Warner recorded 19 points (7-of-10) including a perfect 3-of-3 from 3-point range. She posted 12 points and six rebounds in a 73-41 conference win against South Carolina State. For the week she added three assists, three blocks and three steals.
Antoine (Guard, 5-10, Fr., Maclenny, Fla.) totaled 19 points, five rebounds and four steals in two Lady Wildcat games last week. The rookie was 6-of-14 from the floor, and perfect from beyond the arc (1-of-1) and the charity stripe (5-of-5).
Donald (Forward/Center, 6-0, Sr., Jacksonville, Fla.) pulled down a season-high 17 rebounds, blocked one shot and added one steal in a win over Southern Mississippi. She followed that outing with eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals in conference win against Bethune-Cookman. Offensively, she combined for 38 points and dished out four assists.

Alyssa Bennett (Hampton) totaled 17 points, 16 rebounds and seven steals in two Lady Pirate victories last week.
Antonia Bennett (FAMU) scored a season-high 23 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in the Lady Rattler's conference win over Bethune-Cookman.
JaQuayla Berry (NCAT) guard recorded a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while shooting 75-percent from the free-throw line (15-of-20).
Saadia Doyle (Howard) totaled 25 points, 20 rebounds and four steals in two Lady Bison games.
Tamoria Holmes (Howard) recorded back-to-back double digit outings with 16 points in a loss to St. John's and 22 points in a conference win over Coppin State.
Rachel Gordon (NSU) scored a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds against William & Mary and followed with nine points and 10 rebounds in a win against Savannah State.
Jalisa Issac (B-CU) combined for 29 points in two games for the Lady Wildcats.
Whitney Long (NSU) averaged 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in two Spartan games last week.
Kiara Redmon (B-CU) grabbed four rebounds and recorded seven steals in a loss to Central Florida.
Chelsea Sanders (UMES) averaged 12.5 points and 10 rebounds in two victories for the Lady Hawks last week.
Mikala Scott (NCAT) scored 15 points and pulled down four rebounds against North Carolina Central.
