Lady Rattlers Win Third Straight in 86-77 Win Over APSU
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- The Florida A&M Lady Rattlers built up an 18-point lead in the first half, but in the end they held off a solid charge by the Austin Peay Lady Governors to come away with an 86-77 win
Antonia Bennett led the Lady Rattlers in scoring with 25 points on 10-18 shooting (.555). She added 14 rebounds, five steals and five assists. Tameka McKelton poured in 23 points for FAMU.
Kimberly Sparkman and Qiana Donald each added 14 points to round out the quartet of Lady Rattlers in double figures. Donald would add six rebounds to FAMU's tally.
In her first game back with the Lady Rattlers, Jasmine Grice scored six points, grabbed three rebounds and three steals
The Lady Governors were led by Meghan Bussabarger, who scored 21 points on 8-14 shooting. Whitney Hanely dropped in 17 and Nicole Olszewski chipped in 10 points to complete the trio of Lady Governors in double figures. Bussabarger also pulled down 11 rebounds to round out her double-double.

HU Extends Win Streak to Five With 81-57 Win Over Buffalo
WASHINGTON, DC - Three players reached double figures as the Howard women's basketball team convincingly defeated the University at Buffalo, 81-57.
Tamoria Holmes led all scorers with a game-best 26 points on 10-of-21 shooting. Saadia Doyle notched her sixth double-double of the season with 25 points and 11 boards in 37 minutes of action. Zykia Brown tallied 15 points and four rebounds. Cheyenne Curley-Payne chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, and dished out seven assists.
As a team, Howard controlled the glass 40-30, and scored 26 points off 24 UB miscues. The Lady Bison shot 42.6 percent from the floor, while holding the Bulls to a 39 percent clip.
For the Bulls, Hopkins led her team with 18 points off 6-of-9 shooting (66 percent) from behind the arc. Hedderson had 17, going 5-for-15, including 4-of-8 from three-point land.

Lady Wildcats Fall to FAU, 71-70, in Triple Overtime Rematch
DeLAND, Fla. - What was arguably Bethune-Cookman's most complete game to date ended in a one-point triple overtime loss to Florida Atlantic, Tuesday afternoon at the Edmunds Center in the Stetson Hatter Classic.
The lead changed hands 15 times, in addition to 11 ties during the slugfest in west Volusia County.
Through the overtimes, Elum kept her offensive momentum going, adding another 11 in OT, to lead the Lady Wildcats with 22 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Frank finished with 13 points and six rebounds, while Cleniece Roberts topped B-CU on the glass with 10 rebounds and eight points.
Free throws proved to be crucial in the outcome of the game, with the teams combining for 16-of-27 free throw shooting in overtime.
The Lady Wildcats were very active on the glass against FAU, despite giving up a height advantage to the Owls, winning the rebound battle 50-41. Defensively, B-CU came out on top with 14 steals to FAU's nine, led by Elum and Jalisa Isaac with four apiece.
