MEAC Announces Bowling Weekly Honors

Maryland Eastern Shore's Anggie Ramirez was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.  

Ramirez (Jr., Bogota, Colombia) averaged a 235.75 with 943 pinfall in four games at the MEAC Northern Divisional meet. All four of Ramirez' scores were over 200, including a game-high 277 in a win over Morgan State. As a team the Lady Hawks posted a 10-0 mark in team and Baker games to improve to 18-5 on the season.  

Other Top Performers:

Felicia Baker (B-CU) aided the Lady Wildcats to a 7-3 mark at the MEAC Southern Divisional meet with a 191 avearage and game-high 220.

Rebecca  Glazier (Hampton) bowled a 167.1 with 908 total pinfall at the MEAC Northern Divisional meet.  

Chelsea Krall (NSU) aided her team to a 6-4 mark at the MEAC Southern Divisional meet with a 189.0 average in five games.

Laverne Jones (NCCU) bowled a 182.8 at the MEAC Southern Divisional meet.

Sagirah Wheeler (MSU) led Morgan State with 985 total pinfall and a 197.0 average at the MEAC Northern Divisional meet.
