Crystal Connelly was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Connelly (So., Lititz, Pa.) was fifth among all competitors during team play and averaged a 196.7 with 1,180 pinfall to earn all-tournament honors at the Bethune-Cookman Invite. She recorded three scores of 200 or better, including a 235 in a non-conference win over Morgan State. As a team the Lady Hornets were 11-3 and earned at third place finish at the invite.
Other Top Performers:
Janell Dykes (FAMU) averaged a 182.2, including a season-high 220, at the Bethune-Cookman Invite.
Staci Hilliard (B-CU) was named to the all-tournament team and averaged a 190.7 at the Bethune-Cookman Invite.
Melonie Mitchell (B-CU) bowled a school record 280 game at the Bethune-Cookman Invite.
