Eunice Jones were selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Men's and Women's Cross Country Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Melek (Jr., Grand Prairie, Texas) won the individual title at the Delaware State Invitational with a time of 25:06 on the 5K course. The Hawks captured the overall team title ahead of four other teams.
Jones (Sr., Lanham, Md.) guided her team to a first-place finish and won the individual title at the Delaware State Invitational with a time of 18:06.66.

Kouri Falconer (DSU) paced the Hornets with a time of 27:58 at the Delaware State Invitational.
Dashera Richardson (DSU) was fourth with a time of 18:49.73 at the Delaware State Invitational.
Patrice Rowe (MSU) led the Lady Bears to a third-place finish at the Delaware State Invitational with a time of 19:54.28.
Christian Smooth (MSU) paced the Bears with a time of 26:20.00 at the Delaware State Invitational.
