Bethune-Cookman to Face Off Against North Carolina A&T on ESPNU

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to take on the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a ESPNU televised men's basketball game on Monday (Jan. 10) at 7 p.m.

As part of its seven-year agreement with ESPN, the MEAC will highlight 10 men's and three women's regular season games. 

Bethune-Cookman (6-8, 1-0 MEAC) is on the road tonight and will face the Norfolk State Spartans at 6 p.m. In their last outing, junior CJ Reed led four Wildcat players in double-figures with 18 points and matched his career-high of nine assists as B-CU snapped a three-game losing streak by dominating Carver Bible 87-66.

The North Carolina A&T Aggies (6-8, 1-0 MEAC) snapped a five-game losing streak with a 76-53 win against Hiwassee College on Tuesday night. Junior guard Marc Hill led the Aggies with 18 points while sophomore forward Adrian Powell added 16 points and four assists. Thomas Coleman earned his ninth double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds. The Aggies are undefeated at home with a 5-0 mark this season and will host Florida A&M today at 4 p.m.

The television action continues on January 15 in Baltimore, Maryland with the two-time defending tournament and regular season champion Morgan State Bears hosting the South Carolina State Bulldogs.  The game will air live beginning at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. 

The 2011 MEAC Championship Tournament will also air on the ESPN networks with the women's championship game scheduled for a taped-delayed telecast airing on March 13 at 11 a.m. on ESPNU while the men's championship game will televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 2 p.m. on March 12.
