Kyle O'Quinn was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Delaware State's
Desi Washington was named the Rookie of the Week and Coppin State's
Antonio Williams earned the Defensive Player of the Week honor respectively.
O'Quinn (F/C, 6-10, 240, Jr., Jamaica, N.Y.) aided the Spartans to wins against South Carolina State and Morgan State last week. Against South Carolina State O'Quinn scored his eighth double-double of the season with 26 points, 13 rebounds and added three blocks and three assists. He followed the performance with 24 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and one steal in a victory over Morgan State. For the week, O'Quinn shot 72-percent from the floor and was perfect from both 3-point range (3-of-3) and the free-throw line (11-of-11).
Washington (G, 6-2, 180, Fr., Harrisburg, Pa.) averaged 15.5 points and 2.5 rebounds against Coppin State and Hampton last week. He shot 50-percent from the floor (7-of-14) and 45-percent from beyond the arc and scored 19 points in a two-point loss to Coppin State. He also recorded 12 points, three steals and two rebounds against Hampton.
Williams (F, 6-6, 230, Jr., Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) grabbed 33 rebounds, one block and one steal in two Eagle wins last week. Against Delaware State, Williams pulled down 15 rebounds and recorded one steal. In a win over North Carolina A&T, Williams posted a career-high 18 rebounds and blocked one shot. Offensively he combined for 21 points while shooting 63-percent from the floor (10-of-16).

Darrion Pellum (Ham) recorded a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds in an overtime victory against Delaware State.
Mike Phillips (How) combined for 20 points and 20 rebounds against Bethune-Cookman and Maryland Eastern Shore.
CJ Reed (B-CU) totaled 34 points and 14 rebounds in two Wildcat victories.
Kyle Riley (How) averaged 16.5 points and 4.0 assists in two games for the Bison.
Alexander Starling (B-CU) combined for 19 points and 20 rebounds against Howard and South Carolina State.
Amin Stevens (FAMU) scored a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Hampton.
Jay Threatt (DSU) totaled 15 points, 14 assists, nine rebounds and eight steals in two games for the Hornets.
Casey Walker (DSU) scored 25 points, two rebounds, and two steals against Hampton.
Pendarvis Williams (NSU) recorded 15 points and four rebounds in a win over Morgan State.
