University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Martha Perez has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday. 

Perez (5-7, Sr., Bogota,Colombia) aided her team to a 3-2 mark at the Mid-Winter Classic hosted by Arkansas State last weekend. Ramirez, who earned tournament MVP honors, averaged a 227 on a 1,135 pinfall rolling a season high 269 in a win against #15 Stephen F. Austin.
