Alexander Starling earned the Defensive Player of the Week honor respectively.
Coleman (C, 6-9, 240, Sr., Louisville, Ky.) posted back-to-back double double performances in wins against Hiwassee and Florida A&M. He recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds, along with two assists and three blocked shots in a 76-53 win over non-conference foe Hiwassee. He followed that performance with 18 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks and one steal in a 82-72 conference win over Florida A&M. For the week Coleman averaged 15 points connecting on 68-percent from the field with 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, one assist and 0.5 steals in 30.0 minutes of play.
Washington (G, 6-2, 180, Fr., Harrisburg, Pa.) recorded double-digit scoring outings with 12 points against Texas Tech and 22 points against North Carolina Central. For the week, Washington averaged 17.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assist while shooting 52.6 percent from the field and 70-percent (7-of-10) from long-range.
Starling (C, 6-6, 205, Sr., Miami, Fla.) posted a solid defensive performance as he led his team to wins of Carver Bible and Norfolk State. For the week Starling collected 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.5 steals. He fell one rebound shy of a double-double in the overtime win over Norfolk State with nine rebounds to go along with his 18 points. He also stole a game-high four passes and blocked three shots in the non-conference win over Carver Bible.

Justin Black (MSU) scored 14 points, dished out two assists and posted a game-high five steals in a loss to Baylor.
Hillary Haley (UMES) led the Hawks with 17 points and nine rebounds against Oklahoma and 23 points and nine boards against South Carolina State.
DeWayne Jackson (MSU) scored 29 points, shooting 11-of-15 from the field, with three steals and one blocked shot in a loss to Baylor.
Marquis Oliver (DSU) recorded 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, four blocks and two steals in the Hornets 68-59 win over North Carolina Central.
Kyle O'Quinn (NSU) posted 17 points, five rebounds and five blocked shots in a loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Avery Moore (FAMU) scored 23 points, hauled down four rebounds and stole two passes in a loss to North Carolina A&T.
Aleek Pauline (NSU) recorded his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 assists, with two steals, in a loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Mike Phillips (HOW) averaged 23.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in loss to Virginia and Morgan State.
Amin Stevens (FAMU) posted a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds in a loss to North Carolina A&T.
Kevin Thompson (MSU) recorded a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, with three blocks, in a win over Howard.
