Nicole Hamilton earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Delaware State's
Kianna D'Oliveira earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Sams (Forward, 5-11, Sr. New Castle, Pennsylvania) averaged 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.0 steals while shooting 71-percent from the floor (5-of-7) and 91-percent from the charity stripe (10-of-11) for the week. Sams recorded a double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds) and hit a 3-pointer against Florida A&M to secure the conference win for the Lady Aggies. She added four blocks and three steals in the two games.
Hamilton (Guard, 5-8, Fr., Hampton, Virginia) totaled 37 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two steals to aid the Lady Pirates to a 1-1 mark last week. Hamilton scored 15 points while shooting 50-percent from both the floor (6-of-12) and 3-point range (3-of-6) in a loss to Wake Forest. She followed with a game high 22 points in a conference victory over Coppin State.
D'Oliveira (Forward, 5-11, So., Newport News, Virginia) pulled down 14 rebounds with three blocks and three steals for the Lady Hornets in a non-conference win against North Carolina Central.

Antonia Bennett (FAMU) finished with 15 points, four boards, three blocks and two steals against North Carolina A&T.
Sarah Bolden (B-CU) recorded 10 points, collected six rebounds, and blocked three shots in a win over Norfolk State.
Amber Cook (UMES) averaged 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games for the Lady Hawks.
Rae Corbo (NSU) scored 16 points and added four assists in a 52-50 loss to Bethune-Cookman.
Moneshia Davis (MSU) scored nine points, pulled down five rebounds and stole two passes against Howard.
Theresa Davis (MSU) shot 6-of-11 from the field totaling 15 points, along with six rebounds, in a 56-46 win against Howard.
Jasmine Elum (B-CU) shot 60-percent from the perimeter with 22 points and seven rebounds in a win over Norfolk State.
Tiana Hemphill (SCSU) posted 16 points and 11 rebounds in two wins for the Lady Bulldogs.
Cherisha Floyd (SCSU) totaled 16 points while shooting a perfect 3-of-3 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in 16 minutes of action for South Carolina State.
Trinese Fox (SCSU) averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in two wins for the Lady Bulldogs.
Deanna Harmon (DSU) recorded 14 rebounds, three blocks and three steals in a non-conference win over North Carolina Central.
Tameka McKelton (FAMU) scored 17 points while connecting on 9-of-10 from the charity stripe in a 75-71 loss to North Carolina A&T.
