North Carolina A&T State senior Ta'Wuana Cook was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Howard's Saadia Doyle earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Morgan State's Kristina Rosario earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Cook (Guard, 5-8, Sr., Fayetteville, North Carolina) scored a career-high 33 points while shooting 56-percent from the field (13-of-23) and 41-percent from long range (7-of-17) to aid the Lady Aggies to a win over Coppin State last week. With the victory, North Carolina A&T clinched its third straight MEAC regular season crown. Cook scored 26 of her 33 points in the first half, including six shots from long range. She added nine steals, three assists and one rebound in the victory.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, Fr., Atlanta, Georgia) totaled 34 points and 21 rebounds in two games for the Lady Bison last week. She tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds and one steal against Bethune-Cookman. She also recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds for her 18th double-double of the year in a win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
Rosario (Forward/Center, 6-2, Sr., Atlantic City, New Jersey) grabbed 18 rebounds, recorded four steals and blocked three shots to help Morgan State to a 1-1 record last week. Offensively, she tallied 18 points while shooting 50-percent from the floor.

Corin Adams (MSU) averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 4.5 steals and 1.0 block per game to aid the Lady Bears to a 1-1 mark last week.
Jaquayla Berry (NCAT) totaled 22 points, seven rebounds and three steals in two victories for the Lady Aggies last week.
Zykia Brown (How) aided the Lady Bison in two wins with 35 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Cheyenne Curley-Payne (How) posted 15 points, four rebounds and a game-high four steals in a win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
April McBride (UMES) recorded a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to Howard.
Casey Morton (UMES) averaged 14.5 points, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal to aid the Lady Hawks to a 1-1 record last week.
