Demetria Frank scored 17 points and Jalisa Isaac added 15 points and Bethune-Cookman held off a late Coppin State charge to post a 56-54 victory over the Eagles on Friday in the Physical Education Complex.
The Eagles trailed 55-54 and had an opportunity to take the lead with 6.9 seconds left in the game, but missed a pair of free throws.
Bethune-Cookman (11-10, 6-3 MEAC) also received 10 points and 10 rebounds from Jasmine Daniels.
Coppin State (8-12, 4-5 MEAC) was led by Laketah Irving who scored 11 points, while Jeanine Manley added nine points and six rebounds.
