University of Maryland Eastern Shore junior Maria Rodriguez was named the MEAC Bowling Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Friday.

Rodriguez (5-8, Jr., Ibague Tolima, Columbia) knocked down 978 pins and averaged 195.6 in five games to earn All-Tournament honors at the Morgan State Invitational Tournament. The junior aided her team to a 7-3 mark and tallied a game-high 213 in a win over #9 New Jersey City.

Keisheena Waldon (MSU) averaged 189.4 on 947 total pinfall in five games to earn All-Tournament honors at the Morgan State Invitational Tournament.
