Lamona Smalley was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Howard's
Saadia Doyle earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Hampton's
Quanneisha Perry earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Smalley (Forward/Center, 6-0, Sr., Philadelphia, Pa.) averaged a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 69-percent from the field (16-of-23) in two conference wins for the Lady Aggies last week. She tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and two steals in a win over Maryland Eastern Shore. She followed with16 points on 8-of-9 from the field, adding seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block in a win against Howard.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, Fr., Atlanta, Ga.) averaged 21 points and 8.5 rebounds in a two games for the Lady Bison last week. She tallied 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals against South Carolina State. She followed with 20 points and 10 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the year against Maryland Eastern Shore.
Perry (Forward, 5-10, Jr., Decatur, Ga.) grabbed 22 rebounds and dished out four steals as the Lady Pirates posted a 2-0 mark last week. She pulled down a game-high 16 boards with four steals, along with 11 points, against Norfolk State.

Corin Adams (MSU) recorded 45 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and two blocks for the Lady Bears in two conference outings last week.
Zykia Brown (How) averaged 22.5 points and four rebounds in two Lady Bison games last week.
Amber Calvin (NCAT) posted 16 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in two Lady Aggie wins.
Ta'Wuana Cook (NCAT) averaged 22 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals to aid the Lady Aggies to a 2-0 mark last week.
Cortney Crockett (DSU) totaled 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in two victories for the Lady Hornets.
Demetria Frank (B-CU) tallied 27 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and three steals in a win over Morgan State.
April McBride (UMES) record her sixth double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to North Carolina A&T.
