MEAC on ESPNU: South Carolina State at Florida A&M

The South Carolina State men's basketball team will travel to Tallahassee, Florida to face the Florida A&M Rattlers during a nationally televised match-up, Monday, February 1.  The game will broadcast live on ESPNU beginning at 9 p.m.

The South Carolina State/Florida A&M matchup is the fourth MEAC men's televised basketball matchup of the season and is a part of the league's seven-year partnership with ESPN. 

The Bulldogs (10-8, 4-3 MEAC ) picked up their fourth conference win of the season with an impressive 58-55 over Bethune-Cookman Saturday. Tyvon Williams leading the way with 13 points, while senior Jason Flagler and junior Carrio Bennett contributed 10 a piece in the victory.


The Rattlers (5-15, 2-5 MEAC) won for the second time in three games with a 75-69 non-conference victory over Winston-Salem State on Saturday. Brandon Bryant leds FAMU with 9.8 points and Larry Jackson leads the team in rebounding (6.5) per game.
