Maryland Eastern Shore senior Maria Rodriguez was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Rodriguez (5-6, Sr., Ibague Tolima, Colombia) aided her team to a 9-1 mark at the second MEAC Northern Divisional match last weekend. Rodriguez averaged a 226.6 on 1,133 pinfall and tallied four 200-plus games out of five games played. In a win over #7 Delaware State, the senior rolled a 278.

Other Top Performers:

Lauren Graupmann (NSU) knocked down 935 pins and averaged a 187.0 at the second MEAC Southern Divisional match.  As a team, the Spartans posted a 7-1 mark in conference play at the event. 

Jasmine Sutherland (B-CU) led her team with a 189.6 average on 948 total pinfall at the second MEAC Southern Divisional match.
