Tasia Bristow earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Florida A&M's
Qiana Donald earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, r-So., Atlanta, Georgia) recorded 26 points and 13 rebounds in a three point loss to New Jersey Tech. The double-double was the fifth of the year for Doyle. The forward shot 76-percent from the charity stripe (10-of-13) and added one steal in the loss.
Bristow (Guard, 5-4, Fr., Baltimore, Maryland) totaled 25 points, four steals and one rebound in a 62-42 non-conference win over St. Francis (NY). The guard shot 77-percent from the floor (10-of-13), 75-percent from 3-point range (3-of-4) and was a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line in 18 minutes of action.
Donald (Center/Forward, 6-0, Jr. Jacksonville, Florida) pulled down 14 rebounds, seven defensive, with two blocks and one steal in two games for the Lady Rattlers. Offensively, Donald shot 58-percent from the floor and recorded 14 points.
Other Top Performers:
Amber Cook (UMES) combined for 20 points, six steals and two rebounds in two games for the Lady Hawks.
Casey Morton (UMES) totaled 21 points, five steals and three rebounds against Wake Forest and Charlotte.
Shanyce Stewart (UMES) scored four points, stole six passes and grabbed 10 rebounds in two non-conference games against Wake Forest and Charlotte.
