Lady Rattlers Fall To Cleveland State, 67-49
CLEVELAND, Ohio (Nov. 26) - Cleveland State handed the Florida A&M team their second loss of the season as the Vikings defeated the Lady Rattlers, 67-49 Friday evening at Wolstein Center.
Tameka McKelton was the only Lady Rattlers to score in double-figures as she scored a game high 25 points, behind her was Antonia Bennett with seven points. Qiana Donald led the Lady Rattlers in rebounding as she pulled down a team high seven boards, while Myeshia Simms led the team in assists with five.
CSU had four Vikings to score in double-figures with Destinee Blue scored a team high 17 points. Shawnita Garland added 12 points, followed by Shalonda Winton with 11. Honesty King rounded out the cast of Vikings in double-figures as she scored 10 points. Winton led CSU on the boards with 14, followed by Janelle Adams with 10 boards. In addition, Winton led the team in assists with a game high seven.

UC Riverside Holds Off Morgan State in Maggie Dixon Classic Opener, 60-44
CHICAGO, Ill. (Nov. 26, 2010)-Brittany Waddell came off the bench to score a game-high 17 points, while Alyssa Morris and Rheya Neabors added 11 and 10 points, respectively, to lead UC Riverside to a 60-44 non-conference victory over Morgan State in the opener of the DePaul Maggie Dixon Classic Friday evening at McGrath Arena.
For Morgan State, the loss ended its two-game winning streak and dropped the Lady Bears to 3-2 on the season.
Morgan State, which scored just nine points in the first half and faced a deficit of as much as 18 points in the second half, twice pulled within eight points but was unable to overcome its slow first half start.
Brittan Dodson and Moneshia Davis each scored a team-high 11 points to lead the Lady Bears. Davis also finished with a game-high four steals and a team-high six rebounds on the evening.
The Lady Bears shot 32 percent (16-of-50) from the field, including 1-of-14 (7.1 percent) from three-point range.
UC Riverside converted 22-of-61 (36 percent) from the field and hit 9-of-24 (37 percent) from three-point range. Rheya Neabors pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds to record a double-double and help the Highlanders to a 42-33 rebounding advantage over Morgan State.

UConn Overpowers Howard, 86-25
WASHINGTON, DC - Howard dropped a 86-25 decision to Connecticut (4-0) in its first game of the World Vision Challenge on Fri. Nov. 26. With the loss, the Lady Bison drop to 2-4 on the season.
The Lady Bison struggled to get things going on the offensive end as they were held to just under 20 percent shooting (9-for-46). Jerelle Gorham had two three-pointers off the bench to lead all Howard scorers with six points. Tamoria Holmes and Julee' O'Neal chipped in with five. Saadia Doyle pulled down a team-high five rebounds.
For UConn, Maya Moore had a game-best 20 points and eight boards. Bria Hartley finished with 16 points, while Stefanie Dolson had 13 points.
