North Carolina A&T senior Ta'Wuana Cook was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Howard's Saadia Doyle earned Rookie of the Week honors, while Morgan State's Theresa Davis earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
Cook (Guard, 5-8, Sr., Fayetteville, N.C.) totaled 54 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 50-percent from the field and 50-percent from 3-point range to guide the Lady Aggies to a 2-1 mark last week. Against Missouri Kansas City, Cook tallied 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists and one steal. She followed that performance with 23 points and three steals in the Lady Aggies' win over North Carolina Central.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, Fr., Atlanta, Ga.) averaged 27 points and 11 rebounds to aid the Lady Bison to a 1-1 mark last week. Against Holy Cross, she recorded a career-high 31 points and 14 rebounds. For the week, Doyle shot 68-percent from the field (19-of-28) and 94-percent (16-of-17) from the free-throw line.
Davis (Forward, 6-2, Jr., St. Louis, Mo.) grabbed 20 rebounds, recorded eight steals and one block in three games for the Lady Bears. Against St. Peter's, Davis posted 17 points on 7-of-11 from the field and added six rebounds and two steals. She followed that performance with 15 points, eight rebounds, one block and four steals against Richmond.

Adobi Agbasi (UMES) shot 40-percent from the field and tallied seven blocks and one steal in two games for the Lady Hawks.
Corin Adams (MSU) averaged 18.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in three games for the Lady Bears.
Danielle Anderson (FAMU) recorded 12 points and a season-high four blocks in a 61-59 win against Alabama State.
Zykia Brown (How) posted 29 points, three rebounds and three assists in an overtime victory against Holy Cross.
Amber Calvin (NCAT) averaged 15.3 points and 3.3 rebounds to aid the Lady Aggies to a 2-1 mark last week.
April McBride (UMES) shot 45-percent from the field (15-of-33) and totaled 37 points and 18 rebounds to aid the Lady Hawks to a 1-1 mark.
Quanneisha Perry (Ham) totaled 27 points, 16 rebounds and five assists in two games for the Lady Pirates last week.
Christian Rateree (FAMU) tallied 20 points and hit the game winning shot with six seconds left to defeat Alabama State, 61-59.
Chelsea Sanders (UMES) averaged 8.5 points and six rebounds, while shooting 80-percent from the free-throw line, in two games for the Lady Hawks.
Lamona Smalley (NCAT) totaled 29 points, 22 rebounds, seven assists and four blocks to aid the Lady Aggies to a 2-1 mark last week.
