Martha Perez was named the MEAC Bowling Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Perez (5-9, Jr., Bogota, Columbia) guided the Lady Hawks to a 11-3 mark and first-place finish at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Invite. Perez averaged a 216.8 on 1,084 pinfall. She tallied a 237 in a win over Stephen F. Austin and followed with a 251 in a win against #6 Nebraska to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
guided the Lady Hornets to a 10-0 record at the MEAC northern divisional meet. The junior averaged a 218.6 on 1,093 pinfall and posted a game-high 236 in a win over Coppin State.

Krisitina Frahm (UMES) knocked down 1,077 pins and averaged a 215.4 at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Invite.
Brooke Peterson (DSU) aided the Lady Hornets to a 10-4 mark at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Classic. Peterson averaged a 217.8 on 1,089 pinfall.
Paula Vilas (UMES) averaged 220.33 in three games at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Invite.
