The Howard men's basketball team will travel to Norfolk, Virginia to face the Norfolk State Spartans during a nationally televised match-up, Monday, January 18. The game will broadcast live on ESPNU beginning at 9 p.m.
The Howard/Norfolk State matchup is the third MEAC men's televised basketball matchup of the season and is a part of the league's seven-year partnership with ESPN.
The Bison (4-14 overall, 3-1 in the MEAC) have won two in a row and three of their last four. Howard's latest win was an 82-77 against North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, NC on Saturday.
The Spartans (3-12 overall, 2-2 in the MEAC) have won two in a row after an 11-game losing skid. Norfolk State has posted victories over Florida A&M (78-65) on the road and against rival Hampton (66-50) on Saturday.
