MEAC Doubleheader on ESPNU: Hampton vs. Morgan State

The Morgan State men's and women's basketball teams will travel to Hampton, Virginia to face the Hampton Pirates during a nationally televised doubleheader, Monday, January 11.  The games will broadcast live on ESPNU beginning at 4:30 p.m with the women's game and a 7:30 p.m. start for the men's game.  

The MSU/Hampton matchup is the first MEAC televised basketball matchup of the season and is a part of the league's seven-year partnership with ESPN. 

The defending MEAC Men's champion Morgan State Bears are 2-0 in MEAC play and 9-7 overall. The Hampton Pirates enter tonight's contest with a 1-1 mark in conference play and 4-10 record overall.

In women's action, the Morgan State Lady Bears defeated Howard on Saturday to improve to 2-0 in conference play and 5-8 overall. The Lady Pirates of Hampton (0-2 MEAC, 4-9) will look get back into the win column following Saturday's 58-52 home loss to Coppin State.
