Florida A&M junior Jovana Blazeski was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the week, the conference announced on Monday. Morgan State's Jourdan Lemons earned Rookie of the Week accolades.
Blazseki (OH, 6-1, Jr., Belgrade, Serbia) averaged 16 kills and 14.25 digs per match to lead the Lady Rattlers to a 2-2 mark last week. In a win against Mercer, Blazeski hit .611 from the floor (13-of-18) and added 10 digs. She followed that performance with a total of 51 kills, 47 digs and seven blocks to earn all-tournament honors at the UCF Invite. For the week, the outside hitter totaled 64 kills while hitting 25-percent from the floor. She added nine blocks and two aces during the four matches.
Lemons (S, 5-10, Fr., Oxnard, California) averaged 22.75 assists, 5.75 digs, two blocks and one ace per match for the Lady Bears last week. She posted 91 assists, 23 digs, eight blocks and five aces in four matches.

Gazelle D'Artois (How) totaled 44 kills and 26 digs in four matches for the Lady Bison last week.
Krysta Gardner (B-CU) recorded 10 kills and nine digs, while hitting .412 from the floor in a 3-0 win over Savannah State.
Jarne Gleaton (SCSU) earned all-tournament honors at the SCSU Spikefest after tallying 51 kills, 17 digs, 11 blocks and six aces to guide the Lady Bulldogs to a 3-1 mark.
Aaryn Harrison (Ham) tallied 11 kills and a .474 hitting percentage in a loss to Providence.
Ellica Morris (NSU) led the Spartans with 23 kills, five digs, three blocks and two aces at the Elon Phoenix Classic.
Bella Jade Romero (UMES) averaged 11.27 assists and 1.91 digs per set last week for the Lady Hawks.
Jade Sandford (SCSU) hit .291 from the floor and posted 31 kills and seven blocks at the SCSU Spikefest.
Chelle Ticeson (B-CU) hit .433 from the floor with 16 kills and added five aces to aid the Lady Wildcats to a 1-1 mark last week.
Caylin Woodward (UMES) posted 13 kills and 21 digs, including the 1,000th kill of her career in a 3-2 win over Youngstown State.
Brittany Wynne (Ham) recorded 23 kills and nine digs in a 3-2 win over Winston-Salem State.
