Former Hornet Emmanuel Marc Signs with CFL's Lions

 

Dover, DE - Former Delaware State University running back Emmanuel Marc has signed a two-year deal with the Canadian Football League’s British Columbia Lions. Marc rushed for 1,401 yards and 14 touchdowns in 22 games with the Hornets in 2005 and 2006.

He ran for 1,230 yards, the fourth-best single-season total in team history, and 12 touchdowns to help lead the Hornets to an 8-3 record in 2006. He was an All-MEAC Second Team selection that year.

Before joining the Hornets, Marc rushed for 3,273 yards and 30 touchdowns in two seasons at Hudson Valley Junior College in New York.

A five-time Canadian Football League champion, British Columbia was third in the CFL West with an 11-7 record in 2008.

Marc is scheduled to report to the Lions’ preseason camp on June 3. The team’s regular season opener is July 3.
