The Coppin State men's basketball team will travel to Orangeburg, South Carolina to face the South Carolina State Bulldogs during a nationally televised game Saturday, February 7. The game will broadcast live on ESPN2 beginning at Noon.
The Morgan State Bears will take on the Winston-Salem State Rams in the second MEAC televised match-up of the day. Tip-off for that game is 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Coppin State/South Carolina State matchup is the fifth MEAC televised men's basketball matchup of the season and is a part of the league’s seven-year partnership with ESPN. Coppin State defeated Maryland Eastern Shore 65-48 in their last televised match-up on February 2.
The MEAC television schedule tipped off January 12, as the Florida A&M Rattlers picked up a double-overtime victory against the Hampton Pirates, 76-75. The Bulldogs fell to the Howard Bison, 65-74, on January 19 in the league’s second televised game of the season while the South Carolina State Bulldogs topped the North Carolina A&T Aggies 71-53 on January 26.
