Florida A&M University's
Tameka McKelton was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Howard's
Saadia Doyle earned Rookie of the Week honors, while FAMU's
Qiana Donald earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
McKelton (Guard, 5-8, So., West Palm Beach, Florida) scored a game-high 27 points including 12-of-16 from the floor, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 72-71 non-conference win against Florida. She followed that performance with 13 points, two rebounds and two assists in a conference victory over Bethune-Cookman.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, Fr., Atlanta, Georgia) averaged a double-double of 13.5 points and 11 rebounds to aid the Lady Bison to a 2-0 mark last week. Doyle totaled 27 points and 22 rebounds in the outings and posted her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a conference win against Hampton.
Donald (Guard/Forward, 6-0, So., Jacksonville, Florida) grabbed 29 rebounds along with three blocks and two steals in two victories for the Lady Rattlers. In the win over Florida, Donald recorded 10 rebounds. Against Bethune-Cookman, she finished with a MEAC season-high 19 rebounds.

Paris Alston (SCSU) averaged 10 points and six rebounds in two victories for the Lady Bulldogs.
Alexis Abraham (DSU) posted 12 points, three rebounds and one steal in a conference loss to Maryland Eastern Shore.
Corin Adams (MSU) recorded 20 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals in a loss to Brown.
Porche Anderson (B-CU) came off the bench and recorded nine points and seven rebounds in a 65-62 loss to Florida A&M.
JaQuayla Berry (NCAT) tallied a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds against Norfolk State.
Sarah Bolden (B-CU) totaled 25 points and 20 rebounds and led the Lady Wildcats to a 1-1 mark last week.
Zykia Brown (How) averaged 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Lady Bison last week.
Sophilia Hipps (SCSU) averaged 21.5 points along with 4.5 rebounds in two victories for the Lady Bulldogs.
April McBride (UMES) scored 25 points and eight rebounds in a conference win over Delaware State.
Lamona Smalley (NCAT) was a perfect 7-of-7 from the field and finished with 16 points along with eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a conference win over Norfolk State.
